About us

Hunehar is a non- profit organization founded in 2012 to ensure that all children can exercise their right to basic education. Our aim is to educate, empower and support out-of-school children in underserved areas of Pakistan by providing them quality education, building their skillsets and providing psycho-social support.

Objectives

  • To provide the basic right of education to the deprived children in our society.
  • To enhance their skills in order to empower them economically and mentally.
  • To provide psycho-social support to promote healthy behaviour and general social skills.
  • To support them financially and eradicate child labor and poverty.

What People Are Saying

" I have been sponsoring two adorable boys for the past 4 years and the sheer happiness Child sponsorship brings is inexplicable. Trust me when I say the relationships are real and our letters matter. These teenagers who run Hunehar have already accomplished more than we ever will. "

"Give man a fish, you feed him for one day; teach him how to fish, you feed him for lifetime. - Stephen Covey. I believe that sponsoring someone's education is the kindest thing you can do. Hunehar is doing what has been for long ignored in this country. Kudos to them!"
