Hunehar Summer Internship
Hunehar conducted its first ever Summer Internship program in
2019. Students from various schools and universities of Islamabad
volunteered to help Team Hunehar set up the new building of
Hunehar Welfare School. Interns spent four weeks teaching students,
organizing educational activities and painting the walls of what was to
become a safe haven for over 200 students.
As part of the internship, a school painting activity was organized where many volunteers, interns and team members actively participated by making the walls more vibrant with colors and designs, so that our students will enjoy coming to school.

In January 2022, Team Hunehar was invited by HUM Pashto to talk barriers to education in underserved areas of Pakistan. Our team shed light on the various social issues that exist in our society including child labor, poverty and widespread gender disparities.
